Transient dc photoconductivity caused by geminate ion pairs in non-polar liquids

Abstract:The kinetics of dc conductivity induced by pulsed photo-generation of ion pairs is discussed on the basis of a numerical solution of the time-dependent Onsager problem. The results calculated are compared with experimental data to estimate the geminate ion contribution in transient photoconductivity.
