Thermal expansion of Ni3Al-Ni3Nb alloys

Temperature dependence of the thermal expansion coefficient () of Ni₃Al-Ni₃Nb alloys was studied. All alloys were found to have an abrupt decrease of in the 500 °–550 ° temperature range. The two-phase, 94 wt.% of Ni₃Nb alloy was shown to have the lowest thermal expansion coefficient.
