| Abstract: | Using anodic aluminium oxide films as collectors, all four well known carbon forms, diamond, graphitic, fullerenic and amorphous particles, are identified inside a candle flame, suggesting a new nucleation mechanism for diamond growth and fullerene formation in a combustion synthesizing process. |
