Energy levels of Na from the Na(d, pγ)Na reaction

Excited states in ²⁴Na have been investigated by means of the ²³Na(d, pγ)²⁴Na reaction at incident deuteron energies of 2.5 and 2.8 MeV. Excitation energies and γ-ray decay for levels up to 4.2 MeV have been determined from proton-gamma coincidence spectra obtained with a surface barrier detector and a Ge(Li) detector on-line with a computer. Two new levels at 3944 ± 2 and 4195 ± 3 keV excitation energies are reported.
