| Abstract: | Some classes of life distributions characterized by concave ordering,namely, the classes NBUCV, NWUCV, IFRCV and DFRCV are studied. The relationships among these classes and some well-known classes of life distributions are given and the preservation properties under convolution, mixture, formation of coherent structure and Laplace-Stieltjes thansform are discussed. |
