| Abstract: | Improved values for the electron impact excitation Gaunt factor, cross section and rate coefficients are obtained in the distorted wave approximation for the 1s→np and 2s→np (n ? 5) transitions in A1(XII). Also presented are the results of calculations for the oscillator strength for these transitions. |
