| Abstract: | The intensities of the reflected second harmonic light from uniaxial KDP crystal immersed in an optically denser liquid 1-bromonaphthaline have been measured as a function of incident angles of the fundamental beam from a mode-locked Nd:glass laser. The results agree well with the theoretical prediction of Bloembergen and Pershan. We have observed the existence of a nonlinear Brewster angle in a transparent medium. |
