| Abstract: | The effect of methanol on enzymatic synthesis of phosphatidylinositol catalyzed by phospholipase D was studied. It was found that methanol enhances the transferase reaction under in vitro conditions to form the unnatural phospholipid phosphatidylmethanol. |
