Abstract: | A tunable supramolecular thiophene host system with a chiral channel-like cavity is developed using (1R,2S)-2-amino-1,2-diphenylethanol. This thiophene host system possesses a chiral helical columnar structure. The chiral cavities are formed by the self-assembly of the helical column, and guest molecules are included by varying the helical structure and packing arrangement of this column. |
