| Abstract: | In the determination of carbon and sulfur by combustion method,carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide formed in the combustion furnace are usually adsorbed by other vaporized components of the sample, resulting in erroneous analytical results. The adsorption process was studied in order to reduce or eliminate the adsorption. Some methods have been proposed to reduce the adsorption and the adsorption mechanism has also been discussed. |
