| Abstract: | Heterocyclic compounds of the 4H-3,1-benzoxazine and cyclopenta[b]indole series were syn- thesized by oxydation of N-acyl derivatives of 2-(1-alkenyl)anilines with hydrogen peroxide. The structure of the oxidation products is determined by the reaction conditions, substituent in the ortho-position of the aromatic ring, protecting group, and alkenyl radical structure. |
