| Abstract: | A new sterol glycoside, bacosterol-3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside along with bacopasaponin-C, bacopaside-I, bacopaside-II, bacosterol, bacosine and luteolin-7-O-beta-glucopyranoside have been isolated from Bacopa monnieri. Their structures were elucidated mainly on the basis of IR, 1D, 2D NMR (HMQC, HMBC, COSY), HR-ESI-QTOF-MS and EI mass spectral studies. |
