Capacitance oscillations in quantized hall effect

We show that in the conditions where the quantized Hall effect is observed, capacitance oscillations of the junction should be present. A comparison between the plateaux of Hall resistance and the amplitude of the capacitance oscillations gives the amount of localized states in the two-dimensional electron gas.
