| Abstract: | The American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) marks its 20th year of existence. Its major aim as a non-profit, public service organization is to promote laboratory quality and competence. In terms of the number of current accreditations, A2LA is the largest multidiscipline laboratory accreditation body in the United States and the fourth largest in the world. An overview of current activities and status is provided. |
