| Abstract: | Investigations on the Synthesis of Diphenylmethyl Derivatives of Cobalt. Nickel, and Zinc Alkali metal compounds of diphenylmethyl were reacted with salts of cobalt, nickel, and zinc. Only Zn(CHPh2)2 · 2 THF and similar adducts were obtained. In the case of Co and Ni red-ox eliminations occur. |
