Abstract: | The quenching of singlet molecular oxygen (1O2, 1Δ g ) by Er3+ tetra(4-tert-butyl)phthalocyanine in benzene was studied by the luminescence method. The quenching was demonstrated to be controlled by a physical-chemical mixed mechanism, with donor-acceptor interactions being the main contributor to the physical quenching of 1O2. |
