Investigation of the products of the reaction of epichlorohydrin with aromatic amines

The synthesis of 2-(hydroxymethyl)benz g]indoline derivatives by heating N-acyl derivatives of 2-(chloromethyl)benzg]indoline in dimethyl sulfoxide is described. 3,6-Dichloro-1,2,3,4-tetrahydrobenzoh]quinoline, 5-chloroazirido1,2-a]benzg]indoline, and derivatives of 2-substituted 5-chlorobenz g]indoline were synthesized.See 1] for communication XITranslated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 8, pp. 1111–1116, August, 1972.
