Kationenaustauschmethode zur Trennung des Urans von Molybdän

Zusammenfassung Eine Methode zur Trennung des Urans von Molybdän mittels Kationenaustausches wurde beschrieben. Nach erfolgter Adsorption von Uran auf Dowex-50 aus 90 Vol.-% Tetrahydrofuran + 10 Vol.-% 6-n Salpetersäure wird das Molybdän mit einer Mischung derselben Zusammensetzung ausgewaschen, anschließend das Uran mit 80 Vol.-% Tetrahydrofuran + 20 Vol.-% 3-n Salzsäure eluiert und im Eluat unter Anwendung der Rhodanidmethode spektrophotometrisch bestimmt. Die Anwendbarkeit der Methode zur Analyse von Uranmineralien wird an Hand einiger Ergebnisse gezeigt.

Summary A method is described for the separation of uranium from molybdenum by means of cation exchange. After adsorption of the uranium on Dowex 50 from 90 vol.-% tetrahydrofuran + 10 vol.-% 6-N nitric acid, the molybdenum is washed out with a mixture having the same composition, and the uranium is eluted and then determined spectrophotometrically in the eluate employing the thiocyanate method. The applicability of the method for the analysis of uranium minerals is shown by several sets of results.
