Abstract: | Building blocks: A new, general synthetic strategy, which allows the construction of branched glycosylphosphatidylinositols (GPIs), enables the synthesis of parasitic glycolipid 1 from Toxoplasma gondii. In addition, the structure is further confirmed by recognition of monoclonal antibodies. |
