Construction of infinite-dimensional modal controllers for plants with meromorphic transfer function

Abstract:An infinite-dimensional modal controller is constructed for a plant with distributed parameters. The transfer functions of the plant, the controller, and the closed-loop system are meromorphic. The modal controller is synthesize directly using the desired closed-loop transfer functions. The controller design method reduces to finding an interpolation series. An example is considered.
