Preparation and certification of a pig liver reference material

Abstract:Summary A reference material was prepared from pig liver. Homogeneity and stability were determined by different chemical analytical methods.The results showed that these two parameters were qualified for reference material. Certified values for 15 elements (K, Na, Ca, Mg, Zn, Cu, Mn, Fe, Pb, Cd, As, Se, Mo, P, N) and non-certified values for further elements (Cr, Co) were determined by several different analytical methods. These values are compiled in a table.
