| Abstract: | Ozonides, prepared by ozonolysis of alkenes, e.g., I, reacted with stabilized phosphorus ylides to give the a,b-unsatd. carbonyl compounds e.g. II, in high yield. The Z/E ratio is dependent on the substituent of the ozonide. Their possible mechanism was described. |
