| Abstract: | Conclusions A study was carried out on the alkylation of trimethylchloro- and dimethyldichlorosilanes by higher trialkylaluminums containing linear and cycloalkenyl groups and a bulky alicyclic group. The catalytic effect of transition metal salts was studied for the alkylation reaction in the case of trihexylaluminum; TiCl4 was found to demonstrate the greatest activity.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 4, pp. 910–913, April, 1982. |
