The orientational dependence of paramagnetic mössbauer spectra on a weak magnetic field |

| Abstract: | Mössbauer experiments were performed on a single crystal of metmyoglobin at 4.2 K. A. small magnetic field was applied in different orientations. The results show the sensitivity of the Mössbauer spectra to the direction of the field. It was possible to detect the heme normal with respect to the orientation of the myoglobin crystal. |
