| Abstract: | Reactions of (2-chloro-1-methyl-1H-indol-3-yl)-2-oxoacetyl chloride with alk-3-enoic acids gave the corresponding 6-substituted 5-methyl-5,6-dihydrocycloheptab]indole-9,10-dicarboxylic anhydrides which showed fluorescent properties. |
