Abstract:With the gradual progress of commercial deployment of 5G end-to-end network slice,there are some problems and challenges in the implementation of network slice.Therefore,it is urgent to further analyze the current research progress and challenges of slicing.Starting from the systematic discussion on 5G end-to-end network slice,this paper first introuces the architecture and function of 5G network slicing,and then combes the research progress of network slice and its enhancement technologies in domestic and foreign standard groups.Finally,the challenges faced by end-to-end network slice are identified and analyzed in depth,including SLA guarantee capabilities,coordination capabilities with MEC and terminals,and cross-domain management and orchestration capabilities.This paper provides a reference for further promoting the commercial scale deployment of 5G end-to-end network slices and assisting network slice in empowering 5G industry applications.
