Use of topological indexes for prediction of the activity of 5-lipoxygenase inhibitors in a series of hydroxamates

An effective system for predicting the inhibiting activity with respect to 5-lipoxygenase in a series of hydroxamic acids was developed. The bioactivity is predicted based on three selected topological indexes with one variation of the method of k-nearest neighbors.
