| Abstract: | An efficient method of electromagnetic field calculation is applied to the model of a multilayer nonhomogeneous medium with an arbitrary number of vertical faults. The model simulates a medium that includes the asthenosphere, the crustal layer, and the surface sedimentary layer, all joined by conducting faults. The numerical results are calculated and the effect of faults is assessed.
