Abstract: | This trends article discusses the interface between droplet microfluidics and micro-scale chemical separation. Droplet microfluidics
has witnessed explosive growth over the past few years, but the use of droplets to facilitate chemical separation is still
in its infancy. This article reviews the current state-of-the-art in this new area and provides an outlook on the role of
this new technique in cellular analysis. |
