Calculation and interpretation of vibrational spectra of monomethyl-substituted pyridines

A calculation of the fundamental frequencies of antisymmetric vibrations of -, -, and -picolines and -picoline-D₇ is made. The calculated values show good agreement with experimental vibrational-spectral data.
