| Abstract: | We report the synthesis and characterization of a new pentacene derivative, 6,13- bis(m-trifluoromethyl phenylethynyl)pentacene. This pentacene derivative is soluble in common organic solvents and found to have the HOMO energy level at ?5.45 eV in solution. |
