| Abstract: | A cationic ruthenium(II) complex, Ru(PPh3)2(CH3CN)3Cl]BPh4] (1), has been found to be an effective catalyst for stereoselective dimerization of alkynes in the presence of a base, and for regiospecific addition of carboxylic acids to alkynes in presence of the Lewis acid, BF3·Et2O. |
