| Abstract: | Microfabricated polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) emitters for electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) were implemented as tips along the edge of the PDMS device by three methods which utilize soft lithography processes. These microfabrication methods for producing PDMS emitters as an integral part of a microfluidic device will facilitate development of more complex microfluidic analysis systems using ESI-MS. |
