Abstract:Due to the differences of deployment locations and application scenarios,edge computing system has two deployment modes:integration mode and cloud mode,resulting in different system architectures,key technical requirements,and operation and maintenance methods.Firstly,the application scenarios,characteristics and system requirements are analyzed for the two modes.Secondly,the two deployment modes are deeply analyzed in terms of the hardware and cloud infrastructure platform,edge PaaS platform,security,and operation and maintenance.Finally,based on the above analysis,the system architecture and technical requirements of key components as well as the specifications of edge computing are clarified for the two deployment modes from a commercial perspective.
