Digital Control and Signal Processing in Hydrodynamic Modulation Voltammetry

The digital control and signal processing for hydrodynamic modulation voltammetry is proposed. The rotation rate control signal was software generated. To generate the signal and acquire data at a reasonable speed, a precomputed lookup table was used to supply the stream of control values that were applied to the DAC driving the lotator. The data were processed in real time. The ac coupling and rectification and the lock-in amplification were accomplished by the computer software. This design is superior to the traditional analog ones in many respects such as control precision, flexibility and the ability of data processing.
