| Abstract: | The problem of induced nonlinear harmonic vibrations of a cylindrical shell is solved with allowance for energy dissipation by using a binomial approximation of the displacements. There are several distinctive features of the behavior of the shell due to interaction of two modes of vibration. S. P.
