| Abstract: | The triboluminescence of aniline hydrochloride is the 3Πu → 3Πg fluorescence of adsorbed molecular nitrogen, a new origin for the triboluminescence of aromatic crystals. The lower limit of the triboexcitation energy which can be obtained from organic crystals is 89 kK. |
