| Abstract: | Insensitive bulk samples of poly-(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) may be sensitized by in-diffusion of monomers and photoinitiators. Different methods for the fabrication of refractive index profiles in the PMMA surface for lightguiding are demonstrated. The photolocking procedures are suitable for recording 2 dimensional patterns as well. |
