Abstract: | The quantum dissipative motion of wave packets in confined systems with polynomial potentials is numerically investigated in the context of the Schrödinger-Langevin-Kostin equation. Oscillatory patterns are studied in detail and they confirm the validity of the correspondence principle. The transition to the stationary state is also discussed. |
