A New Method of Signal Analysis: the TT -transform

The TT-transform is used to resolve event initiations.These secondary time series resemble ordinary windowed time series,Higher frequencies are more strongly concentrated around the midpoint of the Gaussian,compared with lower frequencies.The invertibility of the TT-transform points to the possibility of filtering and signal to noise improvements in the time domain. Thus joint use of the TT-transform along with the S-transform can improve estimates of the event initiation times and less ambiguous differentiation of events from noise.
