| Abstract: | This letter reports the experimental results of (p, p′) scattering, with polarized protons, on 18O and the analysis for low-lying positive-parity states based on the rotational model. Values of β2 = 0.37 ± 0.03 and of β4 = 0.18 ± 0.04 are obtained. |
