Exact finite-range DWBA analysis of multi-nucleon transfer reactions |

| Abstract: | Exact finite-range DWBA calculations were made both for a (d, p) process and for the reaction 9Be(p, α) 6Li. In the case of the single-nucleon stripping, a very good agreement with the zero-range evaluation was found. For the multi-nucleon transfer, however, the exact results exhibit features which cast serious doupt upon the validity of the zero-range approximation. |
