太阳活动、准两年振荡对西北太平洋热带气旋的影响

通过分析太阳黑子、赤道平流层纬向风与西北太平洋上热带气旋的关系发现,赤道平流层纬向风的准两年振荡与西北太平洋上热带气旋确实具有很好的关系,这种关系受到太阳活动的调控.当太阳黑子为小年时,在赤道纬向风的西风年,西北太平洋上生成的热带气旋较多,强度偏弱;东风年,气旋较少,强度较强.在太阳黑子大年,与小年的情况相反,东风年时热带气旋较多,强度较弱;西风年,气旋较少,强度较强.

Solar effect on the relationship between tropical cyclone activity over the west of North Pacific and the stratospheric quasi-biennial oscillation

On the basis of analyzing the data of group sunspot numbers, zonal wind at the equatorial stratosphere, tropical cyclone (TC) activity over the west of North Pacific (WNP), the relationship between the quasi-biennial oscillation (QBO) of equatorial stratospheric zonal wind and tropical cyclone over WNP is discussed. The results show that there are some better relations between QBO and TC. But these relations are regulated with the solar activity. During some years in which the group sunspot numbers are small, there are more tropical cyclones occurring over the WNP, and their intensity is weaker in the westerly phase years than in easterly phase ones of QBO. However, there is an opposite conclusion during other years in which the group sunspot numbers are large.
