| Abstract: | Abstract Knowing the Raman scattering tensor of the preliminary point group, i.e.the Abelian group of a crystal system or 23(T) of cubic system, we can give selection rules for other point groups by which their Raman tensors as unified tenors transformed like X aX b… Q (i) n, where Q (i) n is normal coordinate of irreducible representation ′i′, can be calculated. |
