| Abstract: | We have formulated the Jones matrix for the general reflective birefringent medium at normal incidence and vigorously derived an expression of the intensity reflectivity for the general reflective birefringent medium with a single polarizer. Two examples are illustrated to show how one can use them in real cases. |
