Abstract: | Holographic chirped gratings with parallel grating lines have been fabricated by recording the interference structure of a plane wave and a cylindrical wave in a photoresist layer on a monomode glass waveguide. These gratings will be useful elements for the imaging of guided waves in integrated optics. A theoretical approach for treating their imaging properties is presented. The experimental results are described theoretically. |
