| Abstract: | The reactions of [Mo(N22(dppe)2], (dppe Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2) with RC6H4NCO (R H, p-CH3, p-Cl) in benzene under irradiation produces [Mo(RC6H4NCO)2(dppe)2] in good yields. Comparison of the infrared data for these complexes, with those previously reported for metal complexes of CO2-like molecules suggest a η2-C,O coordination to the metal. |
