Abstract:The first supramolecular adduct (H3O)2Cu(H2O)4](SO4)2·2(C30H30N20O1024(H2O) based on cucurbit5]uril was synthesized and characterized by single crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. In the adduct, copper ion is coordinated by four oxygen atoms from H2O. The latter links two cucurbit5]uril molecules due to a complicated hydrogen bonding containing lattice water molecules.
