Abstract: | The interaction of [K2FeIII 4(O)2(OOCCMe3)10(HOOCCMe3)2(H2O)2]n with 2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde results in a mixed-valence complex FeIIFeIII 3(μ3-O)2(μ2-OOCCMe3)7L2··2.5MeCN·3H2O (L = 2-NC5H4COOH0.75K0.25). The structure of the complex was established by X-ray analysis. The magnetic properties of the complex were studied. Dedicated to Academician A. L. Buchachenko on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
