摘    要:筛选是一种发现产品潜在缺陷的极为有效的方法.这是一种将产品一边运转,一边快速加温和降温,然后在达到高低温极限时再加上振动,有时还加上湿度、电源开/关、抽真空等应力,促使产品缺陷在短时间内暴露出来的过程.由于这个过程既费时又费钱,所以筛选方法一直没有得到广泛的应用.为了解决这些问题,提出一种新的筛选方法,可以将筛选的时间从几天降到几分钟,并节省大量的费用,从而提高产品的质量和可靠性.

Abstract:It is well known that environmental stress screening (ESS) is a very effective tool to find the weaknesses in a product.With the weaknesses corrected by design/manufacturing process changes,the reliability of the product is significantly increased.However,because the long time required for this process,thus the higher cost,most of the products still choose not to include this very beneficial procedure in the manufacturing process.A new approach that will reduce the ESS process time from days to minutes is proposed to alleviate this problem.A new patent pending production line environmental stress screening utilizing this approach has been developed and is described in detail.
